Princess Diana Lookalike?

I long had it in my mind to do a Princess Diana shoot. Having it in my head for a few years meant that I could really put my ideas together and gradually acquire all the outfits and accessories, based on a number of well known looks Princess Diana displayed in both public and formal settings. Of course the one person I knew who had the skills to help me pull this off was Alise Black. Not only is she highly skilled, but getting makeup done by her is a wonderful experience - somehow both relaxing and exciting at the same time. I did the shoot over two separate days. With the terrible wet summer we had in Sydney, it was two months between the first and second shoot, the latter having been planned for Hyde Park and requiring fine weather. I had wanted to use the beautiful fountain as the background, but unfortunately a week before the shoot it was boarded up for a six month renovation! Nonetheless, eventually we had good weather and it turned up trumps as a setting. We did the military uniform in the domain with the warships as background - just in time before the inevitable downpour!
