Makeover Services
A mecca for boys who want to be girls is Boys Will Be Girls. Despite living on the other side of the world, my visits to Cindy’s legendary little flat in Central London are well into double figures, and she gets better and better. Simply the best. It’s a home from home for me and loved by so many of us.
In 2019 I visited Dafnigirls in Madrid. Amazing looks and Dafni took me under her wing and looked after me so well. Her assistants are just as good and now she has opened in Valencia. Dafni is a brilliant makeup artist and clearly a very canny business woman. Madrid is a wonderful setting for a makeover and photos and I felt very comfortable there.
Tranity Fair is an hour and a half’s drive from Munich, run by Elli Hunter. Elli is an expert at very glamorous and sexy looks and it was on my bucket list until I ticked it off in mid 2018. Elli was so kind and accommodating in a marathon one day session and produced such magical results.
Trans Resources
Seahorse Society of NSW - transgender support for Australian trans people and their partners. There is also a branch in Victoria. Regular meetings and welcoming community.
TGR (Transgender radio) - forums and contact for Antipodean transgender, genderfluid and tgirls. I have met some of my best Australian friends through this site and in particular at Transformal, a tgirl weekend extravaganza which took place in the Blue Mountains near Sydney for nine years. The first time I attended the event in 2017 was a seminal moment for Tina. Sadly the last Transformal took place in 2018 but hopefully TransActshon, scheduled for Melbourne in 2019, will prove a wonderful replacement.
